KwaZulu Natal head coach Nhlanhla Ngema was content with a third place finish at the 2014 SAB Under-21 National Championship currently ongoing in Mafikeng.
KZN lost 5-1 to the Free State in the semi's before beating a fatigued Western Cape outfit 4-1 in the third place play-off on Friday afternoon.
Ngema was in all delighted with his sides performances throughout the week and believes with proper preparation they will crack the final next year.
"It was an exciting game [the third place play-off], I am glad we won in the end, to lift the spirit of the boys. Well done to them," said Ngema.
"I think it is the third year in the row we finished third [laughs], I am happy with it though.
"I think if we can prepare the team well, we will do better next year."
Ngema was happy with the quality of the tournament and believes the North West will prevail in the final.

"It was well run, good preparation. It was a good tournament," Ngema added.
"I will pick the home team to win the final, 2-1 or 1-0."
